Sadly, this event has had to be cancelled due to adverse weather across the county. Sally is a well known writer about sustainable fruit and vegetable gardening with an emphasis on zero plastic and chemicals. This talk discusses how to cope with nature’s predators which are determined to eat our produce before we can (and ornamental plants). This is our special pre-Christmas, day-time event, with seasonal refreshments and a prize-raffle. Sally makes a welcome return to speak to the Dorset Group. She is a gifted speaker and talented horticultural journalist (including BBC Gardener’s World). The event is free to all PH Dorset Group Members and £5.00 on the door for partners, guests or visitors. The charge for students is just £3.00. Admission includes tea, coffee or a soft drink. Please remember to bring some cash for cakes, raffle tickets or other purchases (gardening gifts/books). Doors open 1.30pm for a 2pm start.
Morden Village Hall is well equipped and ideal for this event. It is easy to find from the A31 (Bere Regis – Wimborne Road). Turn off near the World’s End Pub – just over 1 mile. Alternatively, turn off (North) at Morden Park Corner on the A35 (Bere-Regis – Wareham Road).
