Illustrated Talk 7.40pm ‘Gertrude Jekyll – her Garden Legacy’ – given by Martin Young (55mins). Gertrude Jekyll’s life, her designs, her prolific written work and her enduring gardens.
An opportunity for members to collect their free Yearbook.
Any UK Plant Heritage Member can attend free of charge on production of their membership card (includes free admission to all of our Plant Fairs). Visitors are very welcome £5 and students £3, including refreshments. The meeting room is spacious and is equipped with a large screen, sound system & hearing loop. In addition to an illustrated talk, we offer quality refreshments and usually have interesting plants for sale, prior to the talk. Parking is free from 6pm at the large public car-park opposite the centre.
