Kingston Maurward College has a National Collection of Salvias.
Members morning. Friday 5th July 10am-1pm
Members of Plant Heritage are invited to come to the Kingston Maurward horticultural department to meet Nigel Hewish the Head Gardener and the garden team to look around the Salvia collection and learn about their care and propagation. Nigel will show us how he manages the propagation and records and we may try our hand at some propagation ourselves.

The horticultural department is at the top of the hill 300 metres away from the big house or formal gardens.
Please come in the back entrance, continue past the Main entrance towards Tincleton and come in past the Studio school and small animal care) Opposite the Equestrian centre. Meet Alex in the main top car park by the Farmhouse offices.
Bring your own snacks and water as the café will be closed as it is out of term time. but tea and coffee will be provided.
