Bob Brown – well known Nurseryman of Cotswold Garden Flowers, Evesham
Bob’s ethos is indeed to grow and sell perennials that are easy and unusual for the flower garden. He writes regularly for ‘Gardening Which?’ and is a fund of practical knowledge about plants and their suitability for different positions. He has a fascinating website with blogs and an encyclopaedia of garden plants from Azorina to Zigadenus. A Nurseryman since 1990, Bob has a massive knowledge base which he can share with us.
Any UK Plant Heritage Member can attend free of charge on production of their membership card (includes free admission to all of our Plant Fairs). Visitors are very welcome £5 and students £3, including refreshments. The meeting room is spacious and is equipped with a large screen, sound system & hearing loop. In addition to an illustrated talk, we offer quality refreshments and usually have interesting plants for sale, prior to the talk. Parking is free from 6pm at the large public car-park opposite the centre.
